Add a splash of carefree

When was the last time you dipped your toes in the warm sand and relished in the nostalgia that it brought about?  Or how about running barefoot through the grass?  Do you remember as a child hopping on your bike with no real destination in mind and looking forward to the adventure?  When we were children, we knew exactly how to make ourselves happy.  We had no real responsibilities or obligations so our lives were lived very carefree.  As we continue to grow, we start to loosen our grip on the ability to let go and living in the moment.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we made it a point to allow ourselves, as adults, to have some carefree time every week?  Whether it’s strapping on some rollerblades or enjoying a cup of coffee on the beach at dusk.  We need to give our minds the opportunity to let go and our spirit an opportunity to renew. It’s hard to make the time to do this but once you do, you’ll wonder how you went so long without it.

Here’s your challenge… take the time THIS WEEK to turn of the mind and unwind.  Let us know by sharing with us in our comment section what you did so that you can inspire other readers with ideas on how to let go and let the happiness in.  :)
