Life, for most of us, is very complex. Very rarely do we have the opportunity to deal with one issue at a time. Think about the things you are currently going through. Is there room to add one more issue? Wouldn’t you much rather let some of it go?
Regardless of your good intentions, there are people in this world who will not receive you the way you had hoped. What you need to be able to recognize is whether or not your energy could be better served fighting a different cause.
Before taking on what could seem like an up hill battle, evaluate your objectives. What is it that you hope to accomplish? Are you fighting for your pride or for the good of the cause?
There are ways to tackle the seemingly impossible battles without letting it take the wheel in your life. In order to preserve your peace you must create a healthy amount of space between you and your battles.
Never let the struggles you conscientiously take on interfere with what you value most. If you find that your mind is having a hard time letting go, it may be time to do one of two things…realize you have gotten in over your head or time for a good dose of love. Love on a baby or a pet. Very little interrupts the bliss that comes from the sweet love of anything so cute.
“Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.”― Albert Einstein
There is nothing wrong with standing up for your rights and or beliefs as long as you don’t allow it to consume you. With that said, there is also nothing wrong realizing something is no longer with the fight. Choose wisely!
