How many times have you had it all mapped out? You take everything into consideration and put everything into place. You’ve checked your lists twice and every detail is accounted for. Then guess what happens? LIFE!
It’s important to have goals and to plan things out. Even more important than that is being able to roll with the punches when LIFE has other ideas as to how your plans should go. How do you deal with life’s little bumps in the road and are you able to see them as “little?”

Our lives are complex and at times we suffer tragedies that are unforeseen and impossible to plan for. In the moments of despair, what grounds you and keeps you sane?
For me, it’s faith. I trust in GOD to handle all. I give him the power to sort through the mess and the insanity. I can do so easily because I’m aware that all that I have, my life, my health, and my family ….HE has blessed me with.
I truly feel that when we stop chaining ourselves to our expectations and make room for life’s uncertainties, we get a little closer to living a richer more fulfilling life as opposed to a life full of disappointments.
Are you able to look disappointment in the face and turn it around? Can you detach from the anger or hurt fast enough to turn the negative into a positive? I realize this feels impossible in our most trying times but the better we get with dealing life’s “little” detours the better off we are when life starts to feel unbearable.
It’s impossible to get through life unscathed but it is so VERY possible to allow the moments that we don’t plan for, help shape our resiliency.
