Christy Burke is a talented graphic designer (Christy Burke Designs) working from home, which allows her to spend a lot precious time with her two beautiful daughters, ages 8 and 4.
An Ohio native, Christy graduated from the University of Akron with a B.A. degree in English. She spent three years teaching journalism and English in beautiful Jupiter, Florida where she currently resides with her daughters and husband, Brandon.
She left the teaching field to become a full-time graphic designer in 2004. She loves the flexibility of working from home and using her creative talents to design corporate identities for businesses all over the United States.
Christy has always been a very positive person. She surrounds herself with like-minded people with similar dispositions. As creator of A Little Piece of Sunshine, she hopes to make an impact on the daily lives of people. She believes that positive thinking can greatly affect a person’s quality of life.
Dani Sharpy recently shifted from a career in which she helped revolutionize Social Media and Networking within the Executive Suite Industry to become the next Suburban CEO. After the recent birth of her son, Dani decided to put aside her career to be a stay at home Mommy. Dani, a Michigan native, now resides in Florida with her husband, Anthony step-daughter, Allie and son, AJ.
Dani’s contagious positive energy and personable manner are some key reasons that the people she surrounds herself with are always happy and positive. It’s that upbeat personality that made Dani a perfect fit for the team at A Little Piece of Sunshine. Dani enjoys marketing and networking this encouraging and heartening website, and looks forward to bringing a good dose of daily positivity for all to enjoy!!
Anthony Sharpy is a Senior Data Analyst by day but finds his roles as husband and father are what truly define him. Father to 2 gorgeous children and husband to “A Little Piece of Sunshine’s” blogger and co-creator, Dani Sharpy, Anthony recently found time to head back to school to acquire his MBA. He decided to join forces with the Sunshine gang to bring a male perspective. Anthony’s years of parenting make him an excellent addition to Positive Parenting. Don’t be surprised to see him pop up in other features as well.
Nathan Burke is an IFA Certified Personal Trainer with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science & Education. Nathan enjoys teaching others how to live a healthy, active lifestyle. He also competes in natural bodybuilding competitions.
